Telecom, Seminars, and Golf? Oh my!

As March comes around the corner I am looking forward again to this Year’s ITA show in Portland, OR. As a regular attendee I have found the seminars to be insightful, the networking/relationship building awesome, and the 10am Shotgun Golf start to be relaxing and fun.  The OTA (Oregon Telecommunications Association) and WITA (Washington Independent Telecommunications Association) does an outstanding job at servicing the needs of the industry by hosting and facilitating the dynamic exchange of people and information. This year’s notable speakers will be covering topics ranging from the Google Cloud and the Utilization of Empowering Fiber Networks to ARPU Growth and PON Puzzles.

BASIC SHOW INFORMATION:  ITA Showcase 2013 will be held at the Holiday Inn Portland Airport Hotel, on March 6 and 7.  Show hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, and from 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday.  Hosted luncheon will be provided on both days.  Our vendors are hosting a reception immediately following the first day of the show (from 4 to 5 p.m. on Wednesday).  Seminars will be held on an hourly basis on both days (seminar schedule will be posted on this site after January 15).  Golf tournament begins at 10 a.m. (shotgun start) on Tuesday, March 5.

REGISTRATION:  Showcase 2013 is FREE to representatives from telephone companies, regulatory commissions, government agencies, RUS, PUDs, electric utilities, CLECs, ISPs, CAPs, wireless service providers, interconnects, CATVs, or state telephone associations.  The only people who must pay a $100 Registration fee are NON-EXHIBITING VENDORS to the industry. This fee does not apply to those vendors whose products are being displayed by a distributor.  Although there is no charge for most show participants, we ask that you click on the Attendee Registration link and fill out the registration form with names, titles, phone numbers and addresses of those attending.  This will help us greatly at registration on the days of the show.  (info provided by ITA website)
